DT38 - The Most Important Thing

If I have said this before, forgive me.  Scratch that, don't.  This is important.  The most crucial aspect of existence is not things, money, or praise.  These are muddled reflections of something much grander, more obscure, and unsettlingly succinct: value.  Focus on materializing the greatest value.  This does not imply perfectionism as flaws often derive greater worth.

Reflection:  I feel as though I am constantly drawn back to this concept of "value".  It appears to surface inevitably whenever I find myself concerned about stacking the next dollar.  I would love to be rich, but I would rather be happy.  I don't want to look back on my life and see a dollar figure next to every decision.  Nor do I want to see a bunch of useless trinkets, mindless time drains, and devious soul sucks associated with my name.  Tomorrow, when I look back on today, I want to see how different, how much grander, the world has become because of my actions.
