Apparently the human body can effectively utilize at most 0.55g per kg (0.25g per lbs) body weight per meal over the course of four meals in a day. This amounts to a max daily input of 2.2g per kg (1g per lbm). Today I ate about 11oz of amazing, slow cooked chuck roast in a single sitting, ballparking around 900 calories and 90g of protein. Since I currently weight on the order of 100kg, anything beyond 55g in a meal goes to waste… apparently. So, what I should have done was had half as an early lunch and half as a later lunch and the macros would have been divvied appropriately for max utilization. No calorie nor g of protein should go to the crapper improperly stewarded! Eat more smaller meals!
