What do you do when you’ve exhausted every usable hour of your life, but there is still more to be done? You find people heading in the same direction, with available bandwidth, and see if they will join on; or, if they might know someone in their sphere who has the time, interest, or list of potential connections. I find myself today approaching the limits of my own bandwidth and capabilities and creeping up on the need to solicit help from someone further along and outside my own tiny sphere of counsel and connection. This can be a scary position; recognizing limitations and feeling small in a world of so many variables which jumble together to an indeterminable future. However, the fear fades after picking up the phone, allowing someone else into your vision for the future and slowly getingt a peak into theirs. The world opens up, expands, and seemingly shrinks all at once as connections are built; and it’s done with a simple conversation. We are all, quite fortunately, human; this is something everyone has, undoubtedly, in common. Humans thrive on communication. So, communicate, connect, and create something no single human could do alone.
